Ember
A media player for iOS and Android. You bring your own playlist from your own provider; Ember plays it, remembers where you stopped and speaks your language. Nothing else.
What Ember is not
The app says this on its own home screen, and it is worth saying here too: Ember is only a media player; it hosts no channels or content.
- No channels are included. The app ships empty. There is no catalogue inside it and nothing to browse until you add a playlist of your own.
- We are not a content provider. We do not sell, host, stream or resell any media, and we are not affiliated with any provider.
- No subscriptions inside the app. There are no prices, no purchase links and no QR codes anywhere in Ember.
- We do not see your content. Your playlist is fetched by your device from your provider. What plays on it is between you and them.
The first minute
Install, read one line off the screen, hand it to your reseller. That is the whole setup — there is no account to create and no code to type into the app.

The device ID
- It is printed on the home screen. The user reads it out; nobody types anything into the app.
- It survives a reinstall. Deleting and installing the app again does not produce a new identity, so a trial is once per device.
- The ID is not a password. Each device also holds a secret key; the API only answers to that. A leaked ID grants nothing.
- A six-digit device PIN lets a user without a reseller manage their own playlist from the web page. If a reseller set the device up, the reseller manages it instead.
The reseller panel
Ember is licensed per device, and the licence is managed by a reseller — not from inside the app. That panel is where device IDs become customers.
Devices and activation
Paste a device ID, press Activate, and one credit becomes one year on that device. A 24-hour window undoes a mistaken activation and returns the credit.
Playlists
Add an M3U link, an uploaded file or Xtream credentials. The device picks it up on the next refresh — no app update, no store review.
Credits and dealers
Prepaid credits with volume tiers. A super dealer passes credit down to its own dealers, and every movement is an entry in a ledger that still balances a year later.
Transfers
Move a licence to a new device and the old one closes instantly. A customer can also move to another reseller with a transfer PIN, keeping the remaining licence period.
Failing streams
When the same title fails to open on five different devices, it appears in the panel — before the customers finish complaining.
Your own text
The message shown when a device has no licence or no playlist can be written per language, so your customer reads your words, not ours.
